Top Attractions in L.A.

Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County & Exposition Park

Explore more than 35 million specimens and artifacts at the natural history museum, located in Exposition Park. Before or after, stroll through the park to take in the sights, visit other museums in the area, and see the stadiums in this cultural and entertainment hub. (10 min drive from the convention center)

The Broad 

Is art more your style? Head in the opposite direction to visit The Broad, where you can take in contemporary artwork dating from the 1950s onward. Check out the cool honeycomb-style facade of this building as well! (9 min drive)

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Just across the street from The Broad, you'll find the Walt Disney Concert Hall (WDCH). You can attend "Bohemian Strings" there on Tuesday, May 2 at 8pm. Or, if you're staying in town after NatCon23 is over, there's "Dvorak and Bruckner" on the program for Friday, May 5 at 8pm as well. (9 min drive)

Bradbury Building

For lovers of history or architecture, you'll want to check out the Bradbury Building while you're in town. Dating back to 1893, this building features a Victorian court, open cage elevators, and other exquisite features that are picture-perfect. (9 min drive)

The Last Bookstore

Find new and used items in this independent book and record store, located in what used to be an old bank. You might just discover some hidden treasures at bargain prices here. (9 min drive)

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Walk in the footsteps of your favorite stars down Hollywood's famous Walk of Fame. Stroll down Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in search of the star with your favorite celebrity on it. (16 min drive)

Hollywood Museum

Soak in more Hollywood glam at the The Hollywood Museum right down the street from the Walk of Fame. You can view authentic memorabilia and learn more about the history of Hollywood. (21 min drive) 

Griffith Observatory  

Take your gaze to the sky and search for stars of another type at the Griffith Observatory. Located on Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park, this is also a great place to visit for views of downtown L.A., Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean. Griffith Park is also home to the Los Angeles Zoo and the famous Hollywood Sign. (30 min drive)
